Incorporate Core Ultrasound

Core ultrasound is non-emergent, point-of-care ultrasound imaging performed by medical practitioners trained to differentiate, identify and diagnose core dysfunction in the process of patient evaluation.  It also incorporates rehabilitative ultrasound imaging techniques for identifying muscle morphology and function during exercise to provide biofeedback to patients during treatment. Each practitioner may use core ultrasound techniques within his or her scope of practice and training as dileniated by the practitioners professional association, state and federal governing boards, and hospital delegation committee.  Maintaining expertise within practice guidelines determined by these regulating bodies is the responsibility of the individual practitioner.
